Bilbo Golf Classic 2025 Returns for Its 44th Year Helping Texas Kids

The 44th Annual Bilbo Golf Classic is back for 2025, teeing off on Friday, May 2nd, and Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at Maxwell Golf Course in Abilene. This long-running fundraiser supports the March of Dimes of West Texas, an organization that’s been helping children with disabilities, including me, for generations. The Bilbo Golf Classic 2025 is a testament to the power of community support. Benny Kilpatrick and the organizers have grown this event into something big, making it more than just a golf tournament. It’s a tradition of giving, a way to change lives in West Texas. A Personal Connection: Why This Tournament Matters
I was born without my left arm. From the time I was in kindergarten through adulthood, the March of Dimes made sure I had a prosthetic arm. They never asked my mom or dad for a dime. Not once. They just helped. That’s what the March of Dimes does, they step in when families need it most.

The March of Dimes doesn’t just support families, they lift them. They did it for me. They’re still doing it today.

This isn’t just another golf tournament. This is about giving back to the very group that helped a one-armed kid from Abilene get a fighting chance.
Friday, May 2nd, 2025: Scramble, Food, and the Famous Auction Party
Things kick off Friday morning with a Sponsor Two-Man Scramble at 8:30 a.m. at Maxwell Golf Course. Then Friday evening, the fun continues with the Auction Party at 201 Mesquite Event Center. Here’s the Friday night lineup:

This event is open to the public. Bring your friends, your spouse, or your whole crew. Trust me, some crazy things happen during that auction, and it’s all for a great cause. Saturday, May 3rd, 2025: Four-Person Scramble and Shootouts
